Turn a master model into repeat parts using silicone molds and vacuum casting. HY3D Print offers silicone mold replication for development samples and low-volume production before committing to injection tooling.

Material and design considerations
A silicone mold is used to cast copies of a master model; it does not mean every finished part is made from silicone. Specify the properties and appearance required for the cast parts. Casting material, mold life, parting lines and achievable dimensions are reviewed for each project.
What to include in your quote request
Send the CAD model or details of your existing master, quantity, part dimensions, required material properties, color and surface finish. Identify assembly interfaces and tell us your destination country and delivery requirements.
Send your files to ray@hy3dprint.com and include your destination country. Production timing and shipping are confirmed with your quotation.
Ordering from the US or Europe
Parts are manufactured in Dongguan, China, not at a local US or European facility. Send your delivery country and postal code with the CAD revision, quantity and target arrival date. Identify drawing units explicitly: millimeters or inches.
Request a quotation that separates parts, finishing, tooling where applicable, and freight. Confirm who handles import clearance and any duties or taxes before ordering. Production time and transit time are separate; neither is guaranteed before review.
Agree on the sample before the batch
Mark critical dimensions, mating surfaces and cosmetic requirements on a drawing. Ask us to confirm the available material documentation, inspection records and sample approval method before production. Tell us about any confidentiality agreement before sending sensitive design files.
For regulated or safety-critical applications, identify the required certifications and tests first. A workshop photo or sample image is not evidence of certification or suitability for that application.

Common questions
What is silicone mold vacuum casting?
A master model is used to make a silicone mold, then a selected casting material is poured into the mold under vacuum to produce copies. It is commonly used for prototype replication and small production batches.
Do I need an existing master model?
You can provide an existing master or send CAD files so master-model production can be included in the quotation. We confirm the casting material, mold scope and sample approval requirements before starting.
